Now based in Barcelona, Zurik (1990) began painting on the streets of Bogotá, Colombia, in 2009 as a self-taught artist while studying Graphic Design.
From the outset, her work focused on organic and geometric constructions while maintaining the structure of letters, a core element of graffiti writing and one of her main interests.
Her practice has taken her to several countries, including Ecuador, Mexico, the United States, and Australia, before settling permanently in Europe. There, she continued to evolve by incorporating figurative elements and exploring new formats. While mural work remains central to her practice, she has increasingly developed studio work in recent years, experimenting with wood and its spatial possibilities. Each project presents unique challenges that keep her motivated and in constant creative exploration.
Zurik describes her style as close to Wildstyle, built from geometry and the interplay of full and empty space, without fixed rules. By moving away from traditional lettering, she has developed a highly personal and recognizable style where abstraction and legibility coexist, resonating both within and beyond the graffiti world.
