In the 1980s, the American hip-hop movement had a significant influence in France, paving the way for the youth to embrace its culture. Zenoy (born 1974) was no exception.

Starting in 1988, he experimented with several tags, including « AWAISUN » and then « TRESH, » before settling on « ZENOY » in the 1990s. Over the course of thirty years, Zenoy made his mark as a graffiti artist, tirelessly tagging his name on subways, trains, and railway tracks, leaving an indelible imprint on the urban landscape of France.

Fueled by a relentless desire for recognition, Zenoy had a stroke of luck when he met a patron who believed in his talent and allowed him to create freely on canvases. With this experience under his belt, Zenoy entered numerous galleries and now extends his work to various mediums, including sculptures, mailboxes, cobblestones, and more.

This dynamic has opened the door to numerous collaborations, much to the delight of art collectors who appreciate his work.
