Yseult Digan, also known as « YZ, » is a Franco-British artist born in 1975.
Her work has been featured in major institutions such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the ArtScience Museum in Singapore. In 2017, she was selected to give a new face to Marianne, the iconic symbol of France, featured on postage stamps. Her reinterpretation was titled « Marianne l’Engagée. » In 2019, Eurotunnel commissioned her to create a monumental artwork on both sides of the English Channel. After living and working for several years in Senegal and Ivory Coast, she currently resides in France.
