osgemeos (brasil)

The twins Gustavo and Otavio Pandolfo, known as the artistic duo OSGEMEOS (Os Gêmeos, “the twins”), have been inseparable in life and work since their birth in 1974.

During their childhood on the streets of São Paulo, Brazil, they developed their creativity through art. With the support of their family—at the same time that hip-hop was emerging in Brazil—OSGEMEOS found a direct connection to their dynamic and magical world, as well as to their audience. Together, they explored painting, drawing, and sculpture, with the street as their studio. Graffiti remains at the heart of their work, but their universe has expanded, becoming a unique expression in constant evolution.
Now recognized both at home and internationally, they use this visual language, improvisation, and their playful spirits to create projects around the world. They have exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide: in Cuba, Chile, the United States, Italy, Spain, England, Germany, Lithuania, and Japan. To understand their work, one must allow imagination to take precedence over reason: to step through that door, to permit oneself to perceive what the surrounding world may conceal, and to embark on an experience that goes beyond the visual—first to feel, and then to understand.
