he began exploring lettering in 2004. Influenced by the local scene, he took advantage of every encounter to continue his learning and quickly made a name for himself among his peers. His determination and talent allowed him to improve rapidly on the walls.

Being self-taught in painting, Maye transitioned from walls to canvases in 2013. He works on both practices in a complementary manner. Painting on canvas allows him to use the experimentation he developed on ephemeral surfaces and to start building his work in a lasting way. Unlike walls, canvases are meant to endure, so he takes the opportunity to express his attention to detail and narrative.

His work on canvas takes us on a journey through allegorical scenes inspired by his personal experiences, memories, and fueled by his imagination. A perfectionist, Maye enjoys playing with the depth of the image, light effects, and materials to create landscapes where nature covers the ruins of a futuristic world. The juxtaposition of technology and lush vegetation reminds us of the fragile relationship between humans and nature.
