Kan (born in 1977) began his journey with graffiti in a small town in the South of France near Avignon.
He started drawing first in his notebooks and quickly moved on to inscribing his name on every classroom table. He took pleasure in seeing his name spread throughout his middle school at the time. Naturally, he continued with spray paint on the walls of his town.
Acting primarily at night, in complete anonymity, wandering from street to street, searching for the ideal and most coveted spot. His first piece emerged in Paris, followed by another in Los Angeles, confirming that graffiti would play a significant role in his life.
During this time, he discovered the work of Bom.k, which was a revelation. Kan moved to Paris in 2000, and from there, everything fell into place. He joined the DMV crew (Da Mental Vaporz, which at the time consisted only of Bom.k and Iso), and they began producing various murals and collective paintings. Since then, Kan has participated in numerous graffiti jams and exhibited his work in galleries in France and abroad with his crew.
Combining his passion for computers, video, and design with his traditional graffiti technique, Kan transforms his name in a thousand and one ways, from flops to digital block letters, pixel art, graffiti patterns, or even dripping QR codes.
