Born in the early 80s in Santiago, INTI began his work in the streets at barely 14 years old.
Although his works are now highly respected in South America, the United States, and Europe, the artist continues to travel around the world with the same energy to offer us impressive murals.
The artist brings his characters to life in a graphic collage style, adorning them with strong symbolic attributes borrowed from Latin American imagination, paganism, and Christianity, which together find a contemporary resonance.
Influenced by the street art scene as well as the Mexican muralist tradition, Inti Castro’s rich and colorful painting immediately evokes his South American culture. Known for his immense murals, Inti’s work is characterized by his signature character: the Kusillo. This carnival clown, dressed in a patchwork of colorful fabrics directly inspired by Bolivian culture, is depicted with fine lines and an acute sense of detail. Inti Castro brings his personal universe, rooted in Chilean culture and enriched by numerous influences from his travels around the world, to both walls and canvas.
