108 (Guido Bisagni) was born in Alexandria in 1978. He is considered one of the most important artists associated with Post-graffitism in Italy…
108 Nero began painting in his hometown through a traditional graffiti approach but using various pseudonyms. By the late 1990s, after settling in Milan, his work quickly shifted towards a more formal and conceptual inscription: he became one of the first European post-graffiti artists to work with abstract forms, using mysterious numbers that gradually invaded abandoned spaces. This revolution in his work led him to replace his name with these numbers. His work can be seen on the streets of Milan, Paris, London, Berlin, New York, San Francisco… Always in search of his « visual chaos, » he began working with 3D objects, sounds, and installations. Invited in 2007 by the Venice Biennale, he participated in a project called « Mur. »
